The Food

e like our food fresh. In fact, you will not find a microwave on our property!
We prepare our mouth-watering dishes right here, from scratch. We source out the highest quality ingredients we can find. All summer, our vegetables are cut fresh from a local garden. Our gravy is slow roasted and delicious! Our breads are fresh baked in house and our desserts are made from scratch. Mmm, mmm good!

We like to keep it interesting, so every Spring and Fall, we change our menu to give our valued guests a new taste experience. Every time you visit, you will find a diverse assortment of delicious, comforting items to choose from. And we love to host special events, featuring food and drink from around the world.

Above all, the one thing that sets us apart from the rest is this…our steaks are delicious! Every time! Why?

• Our beef is aged 28 days and cut fresh. The process of aging allows the naturally occurring enzymes in the meat to slowly break down some of the connective tissues that contribute to toughness, thereby increasing tenderness, juiciness and flavour.
• The grade of beef being served has a significant impact on flavour as well. We use Canada AAA beef, which must meet strict criteria and have a certain amount of marbling throughout the meat. The marbling is a key indicator of flavour.
• Our beef comes from Canada fresh, never frozen.
• Even the best steak in town can be ruined if it is not grilled properly or not served to your specifications. From rare to well done, we cook your steak just the way you like it!
